1) Per le azioni che avverranno nel futuro a prescindere dalla nostra volontà (tempo, compleanno):
- It will be extremely cold next week. = La prossima settimana farà molto freddo.
- Tamara will be 26 next Tuesday. = Tamara compierà 26 anni il prossimo martedì.
- Next month will be December. = Il mese prossimo sarà dicembre.
2) Per le previsioni, supposizioni, promesse, richieste, minacce (I think, I suppose, I hope, I’m sure, I’m afraid, I bet, I guess, I expect, I believe, I know, I doubt):
- I think Mike will change his mind. = Credo che Mike ci ripenserà.
- We hope you will succeed. = Speriamo che tu ci riesca.
3) Per le decisioni spontanee, azioni e promesse (azioni non pianificate, per le quali decidiamo nel momento in cui parliamo):
- You don’t need to do anything. I’ll take care of everything. = Non devi fare niente. Mi prenderò io cura di tutto.
