Meetings = Riunioni
Le riunioni sono basilari per un lavoro armonizzato e la collaborazione il che costituisce la base per ottenere buoni risultati per un’azienda. Le riunioni gestite con successo permettono un buon flusso di informazioni, risoluzione dei problemi, sviluppo delle strategie d’affari, pianificare e prendere decisioni. In questo capitolo vi proponiamo un vasto lessico e frasi consone alle riunioni. Le riunioni spesso portano anche a disaccordi e diversi problemi, per questo vi offriamo il lessico basato sulle frasi che vi aiuteranno ad esprimervi in maniera più adeguata e mai sgarbata.
1. DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEETINGS = DIVERSI TIPI DI RIUNIONI
- informal meeting/chat = riunione informale/conversazione
- formal meeting = riunione formale
- staff meeting = riunione del personale con il direttore/superiore

3.1.STARTING A MEETING = INIZIO DELLA RIUNIONE
Usually before starting a meeting participants discuss some themes that are not necessarily connected to the main topic of the meeting as a means of warming up. = Di solito prima di iniziare una riunione, i partecipanti discutono di alcuni argomenti che necessariamente non sono collegati al tema principale della riunione, solo per riscaldarsi.
3.1.1. Welcoming participants = Accoglienza dei partecipanti
